Unacceptable Formats

Include, but are not limited to CorelDraw, PowerPoint, Microsoft Work, PageMaker. Low resoultion pixel based files (i.e. GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, DOC) are not useable. Artwork created for web use will not work.

Custom Items

Stress Relievers

In only 60 days you can have your own custom Squeezie.

We have successfully produced hundreds of custom stress relievers. The process is remarkably simple.

1) Send us clear pictures or drawings of your idea and we will submit it for a quote. You can have a price quote in as little as one day.

2) Upon acceptance of the quote and order placement we will create a three- dimensional wax sculpture for your approval via email. This is the stage for changes in size, shape, and detail. If there are no changes we move on to the next step. If you have changes we will continue to amend the sculpture until it meets with your approval. The number and complexity of changes affects the production schedule.

3) Upon approval of the sculpture, we will produce a pre-production sample in the material with proper colors.

4) After you approve the pre-production sample it takes about 3-4 weeks to produce your order.

5) Choose a shipping method. Airfreight takes about 1 week. Sea freight takes about 3-4 weeks. The shipping method you choose will affect delivery time.

All custom orders produced overseas require a pre-production sample, cost $250/v, including freight charges. Delivery time, pricing, and tooling charges vary on complexity of item.

ARTWORK

Sending art to alpi: Send art directly to our art department: art@alpi.net. Please include company name, phone number, contact name and purchase order number for prompt and accurate response. Digital artwork is preferred. ALPI’s art department can accept your digital artwork via e-mail or CD-ROM. ALPI uses both Macintosh and IBM formats. Paper based artwork accepted subject to approval, additional charges may apply. Black and white camera-ready artwork required. Multiple color artwork should be sent as composite and color separated.

ACCEPTABLE FORMATS

SPECIAL GRAPHICS SERVICES

Paste up or changes from original artwork based on complexity, $15/v minimum. Add $25/v if digital artwork in acceptable format is not supplied. Our in-house art department is available for special design & production needs at $120/v per hour, half hour minimum.

BATTERIES

Items that use AA batteries typically do not come with batteries. Items that use small watch type batteries typically do come with batteries.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders canceled after our acceptance will be charged a cancellation fee of $25.00 plus the cost of the work done up to the cancellation date. We cannot accept cancellations on non-stock or special order items.

CATALOGS

Catalogs are always free at Alpi. Catalogs are sent by US Media mail at our expense.. If you want to receive catalogs by a different method, please provide us with your account number for that particular shipper.

CLAIMS AND RETURNS

Freight claims: ALPI cannot be responsible for delays or damages en route. Claims must be made by the purchaser with the carrier. Other claims: All claims must be made within 10 days from shipment. All returned merchandise must have a return authorization number.

CONTRACT PRINTING

Our print shop always gives priority to printing our product for your orders. However, we may be able to print on other products depending on our schedule. Call for availability. The charges are: $78/v set up charge per color, $0.50/v running charge for 100 pieces per color, $0.36/v running charge for 500 pieces per color, $0.30/v running charge for 1000 pieces per color. These prices are guidelines – please send a sample of the product for testing. Pricing/additional charges (unpacking, etc.) will be confirmed based on quantity and degree of difficulty.

CUSTOM ORDERS

All custom orders produced overseas require a pre-production sample, cost $250/v, including freight charges. Delivery time, pricing, and tooling charge vary on complexity of item.

FREIGHT CHARGES

Orders will be shipped by the method indicated on the Purchase Order and billed accordingly. Account # required for carriers other than FedEx ground.

IMAGES

Digital Images may be downloaded at any time from our web site at no charge.

MINIMUMS

Our standard minimum for imprinting is 150 pcs. Below minimum charges: Add $65/v, subject to approval (under 100 pieces shipped un-imprinted only). No minimum on un-imprinted items.

OVERRUNS AND UNDERRUNS

We make every effort to ship the quantity requested. Overruns or underruns of up to 2% will be shipped and billed accordingly. If exact quantity is requested, an underrun may result.

PACKING

SQUEEZIES® stress relievers are normally bulk packed. Specific polybag or other packing requessts by customer will incur a $0.15/v per piece charge. ORDERS SHIPPED TO CALIFORNIA ADDRESSES: In order to comply with California Proposition 65 all orders shipped to a California address will be packed in individual polybags printed with a Prop. 65 compliance statement. Cost: $0.10/v per piece. No exceptions.

PRINTING

Method of printing: Pad Printing. Imprint areas: Areas shown are guidelines and may vary based on artwork and product. Colors of imprinting: Standard colors are black, white, red (PMS 186), reflex blue, orange (PMS 021), yellow (PMS 123), magenta (PMS 227), green (PMS 341), ultramarine blue (PMS 072), brown (PMS 498) and metallic gold and metallic silver. Other colors, PMS color matches and two color printing subject to artwork approval. Imprint colors may print differently depending on the color of the product. Absolute color match cannot be guaranteed on all surfaces. If an exact match is critical, request an item pre-production proof. Multi-color / Multi-location printing: See running charges.

PRE-PRODUCTION PROOFS OR SAMPLES

Our paper proofs are provided at no charge and must be signed before we can begin production. On the paper proof you will see and approve the location and size of the imprint. Your order will not proceed without a signed paper proof. Imprints shown on paper proof are at maximum imprint size. Pre-production samples are available upon request. In some cases they are recommended, especially for custom orders and import orders, when time allows. Domestic pre-production samples cost $78/v. Sample for import and custom orders are billed at our cost, generally $250/v.

PRODUCTION TIME

Imprinted product: 4-5 working days. For 3 or 1 day rush service: Please see Rush Service. Non-imprinted product: 1-2 working days.

RUNNING CHARGES

Running charge for the first color/location imprint is included in the price. Additional imprint colors or locations will incur a charge of $0.28/v per piece for quantities under 1,000 pieces. Quantities over 1,000 pieces will be charged $0.20/v. A set-up charge of $30/v will be charged for each color/location.

RUSH SERVICE

3 day rush service: add $65/v plus 10% over the original cost of the product.
1 day rush service: add $65/v plus 25% over the original cost of the product.
All deliveries are subject to inventory availability. Time starts running after our paper proof is signed and returned to us. Purchase Orders, artwork and paper proof must be in our hands for the clock to start ticking. Any information received after 12 noon Pacific Time will be moved to the next day. Additional details: Rush orders are accepted only from accounts with established credit, in good standing, within their credit limits. Rush orders can also be paid in full by credit card at the time of ordering. Time for rush will start after approval of charges. Maximum quantity allowed for rush service is 2,500 pieces. Quantities under our minimum of 150 pieces will incur a below minimum charge.

SAMPLES

In order to better satisfy your sample needs we have created a new e-mail address just for sample requests: samples@alpi.net. Use this new e-mail for prompt, accurate service.  We will be glad to send you samples pertaining to an order you are working on, at any time. If no order is pending we may request that you pay for samples. Our regular carrier for samples is U.S. Mail If you request a special carrier we ask that you provide an account number to cover the freight cost.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

Net 30 days within credit limits for active customers in good standing. Terms for new accounts and accounts inactive for over 1 year are 50% prepayment with balance on Net 30 with approved credit. Full Net 30 terms may be obtained following third order, subject to credit approval. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Returned checks: A $25.00 service charge will be applied, and terms may be changed to prepayment for future orders.

WAREHOUSING

We can stock your order for a period up to 9 months after production. The order must be over 5,000 pieces, and must be invoiced in full at time of purchase. A charge of $ 5.00 (v) per carton per month will apply. Freight will be charged as we ship the product.

SHIPMENTS

SHIPMENTS Shipping Method: Orders will be shipped by the method indicated on the Purchase Order and billed accordingly. Account number required for carriers other than FedEx ground. For DHL shipments customer must arrange for shipment pick up, provide account number and add cost of $10/v per carton. For USPS shipments add $5/v per carton. Drop Shipment and Split Shipment: Add $8/v for each additional location. Incorrect shipping addresses: If an incorrect address is provided you will incur a charge of $ 20/v plus carrier charges.

SETUP CHARGES

A set-up charge of $30/v will be charged for each color. Setup charge for exact reorders will be $10/v. If previous artwork is lost or unavailable, new art must be provided.

Sales Tax

In accordance with California law, goods shipped to an address within California will be charged sales tax unless the purchaser has a resale permit issued by the California Board of Equalization and has provided ALPI with a valid resale certificate. Please contact your sales rep. prior to ordering for instructions on how you may qualify for an exemption from the tax.
