ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS

EDITING & SPECIAL GRAPHICS SERVICES: If you are unable to provide camera-ready artwork we can provide an outsourcing service. The following costs are guidelines for this service. 1-color recreates, $15 net. Multi-color recreates, $40 net. Paste up or changes from original artwork charged based on complexity, $15 net minimum. Our in-house art department is available for special design & production needs at $120/v per hour, half hour minimum.

IMPRINT SIZE: Artwork is printed at maximum size unless otherwise requested. Depending on the design, some logos may need to be printed at a smaller imprint size than listed in this catalog. Orders with imprints that exceed our recommended size are subject to additional charges including excessive loss of product.

Pad Printing

ACCEPTABLE FORMATS: Color-separated vector-based artwork (resolution independent) compatible with PC platform. Preferred format: Adobe Illustrator EPS or PDF with no placed images. Paper-based artwork accepted subject to approval, additional charges may apply.

UNACCEPTABLE FORMATS: Include, but are not limited to CorelDraw, PowerPoint, Microsoft Work, PageMaker. Low-resolution pixel based files (i.e. GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIF, DOC) are not usable. Artwork created for web use will not work.

ART REQUIREMENTS:

• All fonts and strokes need to be converted to outlines.
• Multiple color artwork should be sent as composite and color separated.
• Minimum font size is 7pt.
• Artwork should be sharp, clean, smooth, and free of jagged lines/shapes.
• Send artwork early to avoid production delays. All graphics are subject to review and approval before production.

Full-Color Printing

ACCEPTABLE FORMATS: High resolution (JPEG, PNG, TIF) 300 ppi or higher. Vector artwork acceptable, however, exact PMS color matching cannot be guaranteed.

UNACCEPTABLE FORMATS: Low resolution pixel based files are not usable. Artwork submitted under 300 ppi.

ART REQUIREMENTS:

• All fonts and strokes need to be converted to outlines.
• Minimum font size is 7pt.
• We cannot print the following Pantone colors in any way: PMS 801-814; PMS 267; PMS 3255; PMS 202; Gray tones vary.
• Vector artwork with large amounts of white or white only text will not print well.
• We cannot digitally print metallic Pantone colors.
• Digital artwork will be printed in CMYK. Please note PMS colors are not guaranteed.
• Remove any overprint, clipping masks, or transparency effects.
• RGB-colored art needs to be converted to CMYK prior to submission.
• Artwork should be sharp, clean, smooth, and free of jagged lines/shapes.
• Send artwork early to avoid production delays. All graphics are subject to review and approval before production.

Laser Engraving
